NiyamFin is a website/project/brand owned and maintained by Harwansh Tiwari, India. In this policy, “NiyamFin,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to this website and calculator.

Data you enter

Everything you type into NiyamFin — income, expenses, assets, debts, insurance, goals — is processed entirely in your own browser to compute your report. It is never sent to a server, never written to a database, and never retained on NiyamFin servers. There is no account and no login. By default each session starts fresh; if you choose to use the optional “Save draft” button, your form inputs are saved on your own device only (see Storage below).

Shareable link feature

The copy-link action shares the blank Financial Health Check, not your report or financial inputs. New reports do not embed financial profiles in URLs. Older profile-bearing links are no longer loaded; copies previously shared outside NiyamFin cannot be recalled. Saved drafts remain in this browser.

Storage

Calculator inputs are processed in your browser and are not stored on NiyamFin servers. By default, each session starts fresh — no form data persists between visits.

Optional draft saving (on your device only). The intake form offers a “Save draft” button. If you use it, your form inputs are stored in your browser's localStorage on your device, so you can resume later. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to our servers. It persists until you click “Clear” on the draft banner, discard the draft, or clear your browser data. The signup form also stores a single on-device flag (no personal data) to remember that you already subscribed.

If you sign up for product updates, only your email address is sent to our mailing-list provider (Formspree / our email service provider). Your calculator inputs are never linked to it and are never sent to the mailing-list provider. Data is processed on the basis of your consent. You may withdraw consent and unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by emailing hello@niyamfin.com. We do not build a profile of you.

Finance Tracker. Cash-flow transactions and planning records (assets, liabilities, policies, goals and retirement assumptions) each have an optional device-saving switch. These records are processed in the browser and are not uploaded by the tracker. Planning backup imports are read locally. Exported JSON and CSV files contain personal financial information; protect them and avoid shared devices. Planning backups do not include cash-flow transactions. Each tracker section offers its own deletion controls, independently of My Money Plan.

Analytics and tracking

NiyamFin does not use ad network scripts or advertising trackers on any page. Calculator and checkup inputs are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to our servers or to any third-party service.

Optional journey measurement is disabled in this release. Configuring a Google Analytics ID alone does not load its script or enable events. Activation requires a reviewed consent choice and provider settings; there is currently no analytics opt-in interface. Calculator use does not depend on analytics. The prepared event contract permits only predefined tool and entry-surface labels, not financial entries, results, dates, checklist answers or names. Declined or unavailable events are discarded, not replayed. Google Analytics, if later activated, can process IP/device information and provider identifiers; omitting financial amounts does not make its telemetry anonymous. Automatic events, URL fields and withdrawal behavior must be reviewed before activation. See Privacy Architecture.

The hosting provider serving this site may record standard technical request logs (such as IP address and timestamp) for security and operational purposes. These logs are retained for up to 90 days and are not linked to the financial details you enter.

Advertising

NiyamFin does not currently run advertising scripts or display ads. No advertising cookies, ad-network tracking pixels, or third-party advertising code are loaded on any page, including the calculator and report pages. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated before any advertising is enabled, and ads will not be placed inside the Financial Health Check or report flow.

Third parties

NiyamFin does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Fonts are self-hosted and served from our own domain — no font requests are made to third-party servers.

Your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023

Under the DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to: (a) access information about your personal data processed by us; (b) correction and erasure of your personal data; (c) nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity; (d) grievance redressal. Since NiyamFin does not collect or store financial inputs server-side, the personal data we hold is limited to your email address if you opted into product updates. To exercise any right or raise a concern, contact our Grievance Officer below.

Children

The tool is intended for adults making personal-finance decisions and is not directed at children under 18.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will appear on this page with a revised date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
