Niyamfin is operated by Niyam Finance (operated by Harwansh Tiwari, India). In this policy, “Niyamfin,” “Niyam Finance,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of this website and calculator.

Data you enter

Everything you type into Niyamfin — income, expenses, assets, debts, insurance, goals — is processed entirely in your own browser to compute your report. It is never sent to a server, never written to a database, and never retained on Niyamfin servers. There is no account and no login. By default each session starts fresh; if you choose to use the optional “Save draft” button, your form inputs are saved on your own device only (see Storage below).

Shareable link feature

When you generate a report, you may copy a shareable link. This link encodes all your financial inputs as a Base64 string in the URL fragment (the part after #). This encoding happens entirely in your browser — no data is sent to our servers as part of creating the link. You control who receives the link. Anyone with the link can decode and view your financial inputs, so share it only with people you trust with your financial details. Browser history, URL shorteners, and messaging apps may retain URLs you share.

Storage

Calculator inputs are processed in your browser and are not stored on Niyamfin servers. By default, each session starts fresh — no form data persists between visits.

Optional draft saving (on your device only).The intake form offers a “Save draft” button. If you use it, your form inputs are stored in your browser's localStorage on your device, so you can resume later. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to our servers. It persists until you click “Clear” on the draft banner, discard the draft, or clear your browser data. The signup form also stores a single on-device flag (no personal data) to remember that you already subscribed.

If you sign up for product updates, only your email address is sent to our mailing-list provider (Formspree / our email service provider). Your calculator inputs are never linked to it and are never sent to the mailing-list provider. Data is processed on the basis of your consent. You may withdraw consent and unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by emailing hello@niyamfin.com. We do not build a profile of you.

Analytics and tracking

Niyamfin does not use ad network scripts or advertising trackers on any page. Calculator and checkup inputs are processed entirely in your browser and are never sent to our servers or to any third-party service.

When analytics is enabled (only when the operator configures the NEXT_PUBLIC_GA_IDenvironment variable), Google Analytics loads site-wide — including on the checkup and calculator pages — to count aggregate page visits and anonymous usage events (for example, that a report was generated). Only standard anonymised telemetry (page URL, referrer, approximate location derived from IP) is sent — your financial inputs, calculated results, and scores are never included and never reach Google. You can confirm what is loaded in your browser's DevTools, and you can block analytics with any modern ad-blocker or privacy-focused browser. See Privacy Architecture for a per-request breakdown.

The hosting provider serving this site may record standard technical request logs (such as IP address and timestamp) for security and operational purposes. These logs are retained for up to 90 days and are not linked to the financial details you enter.

Advertising

Niyamfin does not currently run advertising scripts or display ads. No advertising cookies, ad-network tracking pixels, or third-party advertising code are loaded on any page, including the calculator and report pages. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated before any advertising is enabled, and ads will not be placed inside the Financial Health Check or report flow.

Third parties

Niyamfin does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Fonts are self-hosted and served from our own domain — no font requests are made to third-party servers.

Your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023

Under the DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to: (a) access information about your personal data processed by us; (b) correction and erasure of your personal data; (c) nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity; (d) grievance redressal. Since Niyamfin does not collect or store financial inputs server-side, the personal data we hold is limited to your email address if you opted into product updates. Children

The tool is intended for adults making personal-finance decisions and is not directed at children under 18.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will appear on this page with a revised date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
